Maplestory for Begginers

NOTE: This guide is mainly for those are eligible to play the Global Version.)

Introduction

First of all, what is MapleStory? MapleStory is a MMOG (Massive Multiplayer Online Game) which is being played by more than three million people around the world. However, there are many versions of MapleStory and because of that some countries are restricted from some versions and only allowed to some versions. The current versions are in order of releasing and official release date: cheap maple story powerleveling

2. Japan (3rd of December 2003)
   
3. China (December 2004)
   
4. Taiwan (4th of July 2005)
   
5. Thailand (16th of August 2005)
   
6. Global (11th of May 2005)
   
7. SEA "South East Asia" (23rd of June 2005)
   
8. Europe (12th of April 2007)

The version name indicates the country(s) that are allowed to play that version with the exception of Global which can be played by anyone in the world excluding zones which have a local version. cheap maple story powerleveling

NOTE: Starting from here most information shall be based on the Global version.

Installing the Game

You must first download the game. To do so you must:

1. Go to the website "Maple Story".
   
2. Click on the "GAME DOWNLOAD" button on the left hand side
   
3. Scroll down until you see the button "DOWNLOAD .EXE" then click on it (IMPORTANT: You should check the hardware requirements to see if your computer is capable of running MapleStory).

4. You should see a download screen. Choose to save it then save it where you desire. Once that is done, run the Installer and follow the prompts.

Creating an Account

Note: you should have done this first in order to play straight away.

To create an account, go to maplestory.nexon.net and press "SIGN UP" then follow the prompts (you are supposed to be of 13 years of age or over to play). Once that is done, you should go to whatever email address you used and copy the code contained in the email from Nexon. Log on to your Nexon Passport then paste the code into the text box then click "OK". Your account should now be activated and you should be ready to play!

Running MapleStory

On the desktop click/double-click on the MapleStory shortcut. After that MapleStory should be running. Enter your username and password for you Nexon Passport, create the pin, then you rready to play!
